Meet Winter Mountain – English-Irish Americana

An Englishman and an Irishman meet on a train sounds like the beginning of a terrible joke. Actually it was the start of a band called Winter Mountain, an indie folk duo with more than a touch of Americana about them judging by this video (The train was in Chicago after all).

I can’t say I know much about the band. I was invited to a gig to listen to them but couldn’t make it. I listened to their link, nonetheless, and liked it enough to post here. Over to you.
